- Area to practice traditional medicine / multi-functional area

General:  According to old sacred buildings the center should be aligned eastward, which means that the visitor will enter the building from the west and then walks towards the east.

Central meeting area:

The central room will be covered by a dome; it can be used for services as well as for cultural meetings. Seating is flexible as the folding-chairs are moveable. So it is possible for the visitors to sit on the floor directly (for example during meditation or in case that the center is functioning as a mosque).
This room can also be centered towards the middle, which would keep it under Islam’s tradition, one of the very few religions not using an altar. In this building there is the possibility to practice its ideas and traditional ceremonies.
Northern and Southern Secondary rooms:  The floors in the secondary rooms are raised in a similar way of the ones in the central room. People who like to sit on the floor, like Hindus or Islamists, can do it and participate in meetings in the same way and on the same level as people on chairs. Mostly of those rooms are supposed to be used for meditational purposes. There are seven empty wall spaces in both rooms and the central room communities that can be used. Six of these spaces can communicate, for example, by symbols and/or pictures important to their traditions and their beliefs.

Those Traditions can be: Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, all kind of alternative religions. The 7th wall is meant to be decorated with something that symbolizes the unity of all traditions, cultures and religions that would join them together. It is possible also to arrange the walls decorations according to the different contents of the meetings that will take place. There are other ways to use those 7 spaces, like for example, exhibitions. The suggestions mentioned above are the building’s architect ideas, but the center has countless possibilities and different purposes that can be fulfill.

Multi-functional room/room for alternative medicine:

Throughout centuries knowledge systems depending on cultural/traditional/religious backgrounds got developed  to deal with illness and disease and how to treat them.  A healthy body needs a healthy mind, both parts belong together and can not be separated or function independently. That is why this special therapy room was created. It will give to the alternative medicines experts the possibility to work and exchange their experiences. Treat the human body and mind within the guidelines of their own tradition and so cure and reunite the separated parts.
